  • When turning the Volume control down to get cleaner tones, Duo-Mod(TM) progressively reduces gain in multiple locations throughout the preamp circuit. The result is stunning clarity, even on medium-gain sounds that often sound lackluster in other amp designs. Then, when adding gain, Duo-Mod brings it on in multiple locations. The result is smoking hot rock tones with punch and clarity that simply blow away the competition.

    @mple Stand Review, June 1, 2014

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
    This review is from: Amplifier Stand, Speaker Stand, Amp Stand
    Was looking for a decent amp stand for a vintage wood Boogie Mark IV. Most of the stands on the market are metal and I was concerned about scarring the wood of the amplifier. Stumbled upon the @mple Stand and decided to give it a try. It works great, providing just the right tilt to the amp and it looks very nice on stage. The stand is very well designed and substantial enough that I’m not afraid to put an expensive amp on it, and yet it is still reasonably light-weight and easy to fold and carry. My only suggestion to Sprung Creations is that they should felt the edges of the stand that come into contact with the amplifier. as the edges of the (well-sanded) plywood could get frayed with use and possibly scar your wood or tolex covering. It was easy enough to buy some 1/2″ adhesive felt strips and apply them to the stand – so not a big deal. Highly recommended.
